Cathal Gallagher was born in 1970. He has exhibited widely and his work is held in collections worldwide.
In painting the ocean and the seemingly infinit horizons, I try to capture that moment of calm, the serenity of an immaculate beach. I think about Being, the Moment and the Light. I am constantly searching, feeling for what is really there.
